Koekkek isn't developing as hoped. Gudlevskis could be a starter some day but tampas net is crowded. Carl is a cap dump and they get a good center prospect. JVR would be great on line with stammer and drouin a true top line player. Tampa over pays because there in the same conference.

i would say no from the leafs to many question marks coming back their way I would rather get one very good prospect in pick then a collection of players like that.

TOR might say no, but so does Tampa. I don't know if you guys are having fun mocking me and my buddy Koekkoek, but well.
Both JVR and Drouin are LWs, can JVR play RW? Because I think Drouin's only eligible for C and LW. Stamkos seems to not like playing wing, so

but drais, Koekoek definitely isn't worth enough to garner JVR, its a no from toronto because Quality>Quantity. but tampa say no since they have absolutely no need for jvr

While I agree you won't get JVR for Koekkoek. you guys are seriously underrating him. His lack of development people are pointing to is all from shoulder injuries. In the last year alone he went from struggling at the start trying to adjust to pro hockey to dominating the AAHL in the second half. That's a huge improvement. People keep saying Tampa prospects aren't developing because they're being patient and letting them mature before brining them up. It's like the Redwing with guys like Mantha and Larkin. Are they duds as well? Last I checked Detroit wouldn't give one of them up for your Captain.

definitely agree, but never bashed koekkoek. its just if you don't have anymore value with him he isn't enough to get jvr

That's not close for JVR. Not a knock on Koekkoek, buts it's just not even close.
Tampa had many better options available at #10 that year.

@BigZ Tampa Bay is pretty deep but every team has a need for a big, young, proven forward on a good contract. Toronto needs him most but depending on what he brought back it might be worth while. I wish I knew more about Koekkoek. It's been interesting watching you guys go back and forth.

Stammer there are only 3 players taken after Koekkoek in the first 2 rounds I know enough about to say I'd rather have taken them. Forseberg and Mattaa (who I wanted them to take at the draft) and Teravinen. Well and Vasilevski but they got him anyway
