Buff - Nicholas Baptiste, Brady Austin, 3rd rd pick
Mon - Dustin Tokarski, Jarred Tinordi
Montreal gets the best prospect in the deal Baptiste has the most potential of all the players in the deal and could add some offence to a team that needs it. Austin balances out the roster space.
Tokarski and Tinordi both haven't worked out in montreal and get a fresh start with buffalo. If Lehner is hurt a while Johnson and Tokarski could split starts. Tinordi gets on with a new team getting a new chance to establish himself.

Well. BUF could've had Tokarski for free and Baptiste alone is worth more than Tinordi so easy no from BUF

Sabres can keep Austin, but rest of deal is OK for Habs
