Flames -ducks trade
To Calgary- Anderson Stewart holzer 4th
To Anaheim - ramo colburne wideman 3rd
It's a start of a shake up for both squads.
What do u think.

Calgary adds to this. Not sure what but at the very least take the pick away coming from Anaheim and make the Calgary pick a 2nd.

Wrong kind of shakeup for Anaheim, IMO. Andersen has been great, their D core is young but fantastic, it's the scoring that is missing. Colborne isn't exactly a sniper. Ducks say no.

I disagree, Yep. CGY is getting 2 UFA's and an RFA in this deal. Stewart is garbage now. Wideman's value is fairly high at the moment according to Elliot Freidmann, it's just his salary that's a hindrance. I think the trade is decent as is.

Yea, but Anderson is more valuable than Wideman and the other stuff in the proposal doesn't even it out. Calgary adds.

And of course you disagree with me. You are a Flames fan and this trade favours the Flames. Perfectly fine buddy.
I don't think Anaheim would make this trade tho, not even a little.

So the Ducks give up their #1 goalie, a cheaper Lucic (Stewart) who CAN score (hasn't, but who on the Ducks has? ), and junk for Ramo (who they could have snagged off waivers for nothing), Colborne (seriously? ), and an expensive Dman they don't need? And you think this is a good trade? I'll remind you that CGY is in your username so you'll need a pretty damn strong argument to get me to side with you on that. Ducks still EMPHATICALLY say no.

Yep, the other parts from ANA are basically a salary dump in Stewart and a #7 Dman. Dmen, especially legit top 4 offensive ones come at a premium I this league. You keep on Flames hating bro. I stand by my assessment of this trade as fair.

Im not commenting on this out of hate for the Flames man, jeez. Its actaully not a good trade for the Ducks, plain and simple. I said that of course you think the deal is good becasue its in your favour, and that's just fine. Ducks still say no. They have absolutly zero need or want for Ramo (Could have had him for nothing off waivers), there is tons of Colburnes around and they don't need Wideman who is overpaid and getting old now, they have a very good (yes, young) D core. They value F. Anderson more than that package man.

If you want Anderson you are giving up one of your goalie prospects, a young forward (Klimchuck maybe? ), and I would say a guy like Hudler. But like it has been stated he is way too valuable to the Ducks at this point and is one of their few bright spots.
