Lots of interest in Johansen out of Columbus. Cap hit 4 mill.
CBJ: Johansen,
MTL: Tinordi, Gilbert, 1st rounder, Hudon
Reasoning CBJ: Johansen has worn out his welcome with CBJ, he's not happy, demoted to 4th line, needs change of scenery. And let's face it CBJ is already 7 points out of playoffs and are going nowhere. Time to retool.
They need some young dmen, prospects, and picks..
Reasoning MTL: Need top six forward. He is a right hand shot that can take Gallagher's spot on the top line for now, and then drop onto Galchenyuk's wing when Gallagher comes back.
Tinrodi isn't getting playing time. Gilbert is a throw in for cap reasons. CBJ can flip him to a contender at the deadline and pick up a 2nd rounder.
Habs have an extra 2nd rounder this year so can afford to give up a first. Hudon stings but you have to give quality to get quality.

this trade will be easy for columbus if this is the package they get from all teams because it be a hell know
columbus probley Want baueliea fucule McCarron 2 1st and maybe more this is a 23 year old top center we are talking about here.

the only one that has done anything is Beaulieu. McCarron is a 2nd line center at best. I don't believe in fucule at all I think he is a ahl goalie and Montreal is good enough the picks are pretty much 2nd rounder they be so late.
but Montreal gets a 23 year old number 1 center that they need you have to give up pieces to get those
so yes I do.

LOL if you think that package could get you a potential elite centerman you need to give your head a shake! Under-performing or not he still has a ton of potential.

Would have to give up a lot for Johansen .. Galchenyuk and 2nd... And then that would probably come back to bite the Habs hard .. so I jus don't think it's going to be possible.
