Yup is laying it on a bit thick, but it is kinda funny because many leafs fans did say exactly that. I didn't see a whole lot of smiles from Matthews during the sportsnet interview after he was picked and was so upset he couldn't even put on his jersey. :P

Face of a guy knowing he was getting picked, it was no surprise to him, he knew that since the world championships if not before. No way he asks for a trade or Toronto would have traded the pick or picked laine. Babcock spent a lot of time with him so would know if he'd be mad to go there. Unless they plan on trading him to ari for oel.
