Highly unlikely, as it is doubtful that Hampus Lindholm gets moved, but whatever, lemme have a go at this nonsense too.
*I do believe that Cam Fowler/ Sam Vatanen/ Simon Despres is moved before him, but as I said; *whatever*

Anaheim Ducks Trades:
Hampus Lindholm

Boston Bruins Trade:
David Pastranak
Brandon Carlo

*Was thinking of making the Boston pick a first-rounder, but that honestly just seems like an overpayment.

Why Boston makes the move?
Boston makes the move b/ c they need a number ONE d-man for a long-term future, and Hampus fits the bill. Yes, you trade away one hell of a player in David Pastranak, but so be it, Boston needs d-men more than anything right now. They have more forwards in the system than d-men so yeah, Lindholm positionally is more needed than Pasta.

Why does Anaheim make the move?
Anaheim finally gets that number one winger to play alongside Getzlaf&Perry. he's the slick speedy sniper that could be potting 30+ goals with Getz&Perry. Yes they give up Hampus Lindholm, but in the cap crunch their in, they need to make a move, and its going to be hard making a move that isn't trading Lindholm. As well, you get a suitable top 4 dman in Brandon Carlo, who can play in the NHL right now.

Boston Bruins Lineup:
Marchand - Bergeron - Hayes
Heinen - Krejci - Backes
Beleskey - Spooner - Vatrano
Schaller - Moore - Acciari

Lindholm - Krug
Chara - Miller
McQuaid - Liles

Anaheim Ducks Lineup:
Pastranak - Getzlaf - Perry
Cogliano - Kesler - Silfverberg
Ritchie - Vermette - Wagner
Boll - Sgarbossa - Garbutt

Fowler - Manson
Vatanen - Carlo
Theodore - Bieksa.

I thin Boston should add more, as Carlo just got into the league and hasn't done anything really. Especially if you want Lindholm.

@McJ makes sense. what else is there that Anaheim could want? or could they just add Clayton Stoner to dump cap?

Carlo has been looking great for Boston so far, not to mention Pastrnak is tearing it up on the Bergeron-Marchand line. I think the value is close but it honestly to me doesn't make sense for Boston, they lose 2 stars for another LHD/ We have Zboril/ Arnesson/ Lauzon all left handed in the system and Krugs recently shown he is not comfortable on the right side.

Pasty and a 1st maybe? If that's the price to acquire a top end Dman. I think Boston would rather keep Carlo, as they need d badly and Anaheim needs a good winger.

I would hold onto Pasta.

Boston gives up way too much.
