#1 If I’m trading Ehlers it is for a top 4 defenseman not a much worse forward and a pick.

#2 Not bad. I would want a better add than JP.

#3 I think Carolina would want a better addition, but if this would do it I think I would.

#4 I would want a better add than Bennett due to Hamonic’s age and contract.

Theses all favor jets so much. Just seen what trouba got and now think ehlers is worth more? I'm a Chicago fan so let me try. To: Winnipeg. Seabrook, debrincat.
To Chicago: laine, byfuglien. Jets get a solid stay at home defenseman on a great contract and leadership role and an equal goal scorer to Laine. Chicago downgrades on wing due to contract and age and takes a cap dump in byfuglien. Sound about right?

I hope the Jets don't trade Ehlers unless its a knockout trade. Just because of the Trouba trade all these low ball offers for Ehlers, that don't help the Jets at all are being posted. Chevy didn't do himself or the Jets any favors when he made that strange Trouba trade as now teams may try to make poor offers. If Chevy does trade Ehlers he has to win that trade.

Larsson for Ehlers straight across is probably close. Probably favours Edmonton but it’s close IMO. Puljujarvi isn’t just some throw in.

WOW over rating ehlers a bit. The Vancouver one got me laughing. why would a rebuilding team trade a 10th overall pick for ehlers PLUS virtanen? The same goes for Edmonton's first round pick. if Edmonton is trading it away. it will be for a defenceman. next time please think your trade through.
