The complainant said the exited her car to confront Mathews, who appeared to be intoxicated. She added that Mathews told her it would be funny to see how she would respond.
According to the report, Mathews dropped his pants, bent over, and grabbed his buttocks as he walked away. The complainant said he seemed to keep his underwear on.
The report states a surveillance video captured a male subject walking towards the elevators with his pants around his ankles.

I have done worse in my younger years too but I won’t be a hypocrite and say that if he did this to my daughter or mother that I wouldn’t be pissed off cause I would now that being said I don’t think we should hang the guy. A lot of pro athletes have done worse and apparently got away with it so I’m sure at the end of the day he won’t be in much trouble either.

I never put much thought into who should be the captain Sosa. The way Marner played in the playoffs made me think he should be the captain. He seems more vocal and energized than the rest and always seems to be having fun. This Matthews incident would not change my view on him being captain though. However, I understand if it did because it doesn’t look good to kids learning from their behaviour. Matthews has been criticized for not showing emotion. The sweater check on Sabourin was f’n awesome after the career ahl player was running leaf players. Quiet leaders who lead by example are obviously nice too. Tavares or Reilly would be good captains also. If Matthews was named captain, I don’t think anyone will be talking about this a year from now. Like unsportsmanlike said, other young stars do immature things as well, they’re kids.

What Matthews did was not good conduct, should cost him captaincy this year, as leaf players will not take him as serious. But it's not major news if he isn't a star.
