to Winnipeg
Djoos

to Washington
Bitetto
7th

Washington is a bit tight against the cap and Bitetto is a small but meaningful decrease in salary while Djoos is a better defenseman, which the Jets need need need.

I guess it isn't bad, but improving the bottom pairing won't really make much difference for the Jets.

He has some pretty impressive AHL numbers. Surprised he didn’t get picked off waivers. I wonder if he’s traded he can follow in Schmidt’s foot steps.

After just 3 games the Jets shouldn't do anything too rash as they will be trading from a point of weakness. Plus the Jets still haven't had their top d-men in the lineup yet. With Niku, Beaulieu, a health Morrissey and hopefully Buff in the lineup the Jets defense will be lot better and more reliable. In about 15 games the team should assess what they have and then make the proper moves. On this trade I like it but Maurice loves Bitetto so unfortunately I don't think it will happen.
