Rumor has it that Driasaitl will get the nomination for Hart trophy over McDavid. Is it possible for two players from the same team to be nominated for the Hart trophy? I'm just asking for a friend.

Draisaitl deserves it, he was leading scorer before McDavid got injured. But without those two Edmonton is in last place by a mile so don't see why not.

A lot of people might disagree but with all the injuries in Colorado does Mackinnon deserve it? He and the team have taken a huge step this year and battled through injuries.

I think Drai deserves it for sure.
Most number of games holding onto top spot on league scoring. Carrying his team when McDavid is out. Everyone had Colorado as a playoff team and even a Cup contender before the season started and McKinnon as a top 2/ 3 player in the game. Better team around McKinnon.
I’m not sure many even had the Oilers as a playoff team and Drai is a massive reason for that. He’s crushing the league by like 15 points right now. He’s finally getting the respect he himself deserves not because of Mcdavid.
He’ll get tho votes for it.
And it’s very possible Mcdavid also gets votes. If Rangers get in Panarin gets a lot of votes also.

Drai still has McDavid. Paniran has absolutely zero support if they make playoffs I might say he deserves it. But I say Mackinnon, Drais and Panairan should be the finalists In no order I’m sure each will get votes. And yes Yupp but like I said injuries plagued the Avalanche this year but with that being said I acknowledged Drais tore it up without McDavid.

Panarin doesn’t have another superstar but Zibanejad has been really good the past few years. Strome and DeAngelo are having career years. They have a few good top 6 / middle 6 wingers in Buchnevich, Chytil, Kakko, Kreider.

I’m an Oilers fan but I think Panarin should get it. He’s leading a line by himself and giving his line mates career years as a winger. Strome has very little skill on offence and Panarin is making him look like a borderline first line centre. Panarin is also better on defence.

But Draisaitl will get it.

Yupp I have Drais on my fantasy team so I definitely am not complaining why would I be butthurt no one on the leafs deserve it. But all I’m saying is it’s going to be a debut between those 3 for the trophy there is a lot of details involved in the nominations I think the 3 are closer then you think. Also Zibby missed like 20+ games.

Matthews is better than former blue jacket. he is better now and will continue to get better . Best shot in hockey and his game is still getting better. Pretty much only a certain couple from Edmonton that I would even consider trading Matthew's for . or maybe crosby.

The major difference is the surrounding players. Matthews has far more talent to play with than either Drais, McD, MacKinnon, or Panarin. Those guys are THE GUYS on their teams. Matthews is just one of at least four on his team. Also Rangers and Oilers would not be anywhere near the position they are in now if it wasn't for these guys dragging the rest of the team with then. Matthews can't do that. Matthews makes a good team even better. He can't make a bad team good.
