Leafs: marner + kappy + sda +brooks

Buffalo: Eichel

Just a thought what do u guys think?

See my concern with this is not the value but like the Leafs would have 3 guys who play more of a goal scoring game in Eichel Matthews and Tavares. After a 30 goal season you could even throw Nylander in there. I’m just worried they won’t have a proper set up man.

No from both teams. No need of having 3 goal scoring Cs this makes the leafs a worse team even tho Eichel is an amazing hockey player. I’d admit Mathews for Him would be a pretty fair swap.

The Leaf's shouldn't make this trade as Eichel is a me first, disgruntled, team destroyer type of player that doesn't have the same quality of character that in this trade Marner alone has.

I agree with most leaf, leafs have Goal
Scorers and if they trade marner they won’t have a premier set up man. While I agree that Eichel is more skilled they just don’t need another scoring centerman as much as a play making winger. Just think it’d mess too much with the chemistry as this trade would force either Eichel or
Matthews to the wing which I’m sure either of them wouldn’t be too pleased with. I’d have to be a Eichel for taveres + or Eichel for Matthews type trade to make sense for both teams. I think.

mertle some very good points and fair trade evaluations. I believe that the Eichel for Matthews proposal would seem to be the one both teams could live with both short and long term. A great and fair post.
