Sweeten the deal with what? They’re only getting a sixth. If you think you’re getting a high pick/ prospect you aren’t. Might be able to get something else but I’d doubt anything of significance.

There's always a team interested in a player like Gourde and willing to "pay" a small price like a mid-late pick, imo. No need for TB to throw in the bank to get rid off him. He's a very useful player.

What I am saying is they have other options than paying a top pick/ prospect to move Gourde to save money. Like moving guys like Killorn for instance. I would give Gourde away for next to nothing, I just wouldn't pay a premium price to move him. Point is null if they get a compliance buyout, which I read was likely if it is a flat cap.
