Canucks trade: Rousell, Rathbone, Dipietro, 2nd round pick 2021, 3rd round pick 2021

Wild trade: Dumba

Would the wild take this? I feel like dumba would be a great fit for the Canucks

They wouldn’t take this.

With the last couple of seasons Dumba has had, he is NOT getting Rathbone lmao, not even straight up.

You wouldn't take Rathbone for Dumba? And yet people said that Nylander couldn't even get Dumba? What?

Sure Rathbone is a solid prospect, but the Canucks easily take Rathbone for Dumba, haha.

No, they really don’t. First and foremost being they can’t afford him, and second being the fact that he’s arguably our second best prospect behind Podz, maybe third behind Hog, but he’s hands down our best d prospect, and we move him, it will be in a package for a d-man coming off a better season than the 24 points Dumba had this year.

Do some research before you reply. We have enough clowns on this site already.

No chance a 20pt 6mil defensemen gets a prospect like Rathbone. Minnesota could maybe squeeze a guy like Woo from Vancouver, but you definitely aren't getting DiPietro in the package too. Last time I checked, he was listed as a t10 goalie prospect in the nhl, lower end of 10, like 8 or 9 but still. Dumba is way overhyped.

And I don't know who said Nylander can't get Dumba, but if we're talking about William Nylander than he easily could.

How is Dumba a 20 point D? This season was a down season for him and he was on pace for 28 points, yes. But the two before he was on pace for 50. He’s been in double digit goals for the past 3 seasons. He had 12 goals in 32 games last year! Crazy to act like he’s a 20 point guy. You two might not trade Rathbone for him but the Canucks would.

Again, no they wouldn’t. If Dumba can really bounce back next year, whenever that year is, then they could talk about Rathbone (though they still wouldn’t be getting DiPietro as well) but the Dumba of this year has ZERO chance.

As PLu7o said, they could probably get Woo (who is really solid himself, don’t sleep on him), maybe a second, and then Roussel to cap it off like the original trade proposed, but that’s about it.

Dumba has to prove he isn’t on the downturn if he wants any more.

Yah Dumba is worth more he’d be excellent on the 1st pair with Edler. He’d be on the 2nd PP maybe 1st if they use 2D. I think Myers and Hughes are the 2nd pair right? Obviously Hughes is the best dman but he plays moderately sheltered offensive minutes.

Dumba had 12 goals in 32 games before he got injured last year. He’s physical too. Might be a bit much maybe take out the picks. Vancouver needs a right shot D and if they’re trying to be good now I think it’s a good decision. Definitely not a 25 point guy.

@ Vb. No, Hughes doesn’t play moderately sheltered minutes. He plays top minutes against every teams best players in every role he’s put in, if you watched a Canucks game you would know that Vb, but as always, you like to talk about things you know nothing about.

Omg you’re so wrong go look and see who plays the most minutes on Vancouver per game. Go look at Hughes advanced stats he gets a very low percentage of defensive zone starts. Myers and him played an equal amount while Edler was the go to guy. You know nothing so don’t ever comment again especially about Vancouver.

No way from Van. Dumba is overpriced and over-rated.
