Canucks add toughness with Tuch, and get a goalie to backup Demko, along with a good centre prospect Vegas just drafted in the first round along with another first and second for taken on the expensive contract of Fleury.
Vegas gets 3 million of cap relief and a better player than Tuch. They also get a third to balance out the trade a little, while Virtanen could easily be shipped out for a prospect or pick.

I feel at 2 mil retained, I'm not sure you need more than a 1st to trade fleury.

At $3.5M retained, the max allowed, teams apparently asked Vegas for their 1st and 2nd on Tuesday. So who knows.

That’s what teams are demanding, and teams are wanting them to retain more money. Boeser is the main piece they are getting, and he would be a great piece to their offence.
