Detroit Trades an expiring Contract for a Younger Winger with Team control, rebuilding Teams make trades just like this.
Toronto adds another player with experience that only makes them that more deep upfront.

Personally would rather draft picks than Engvall. Not opposed to moving Ryan

Engvall or Barbanov just aren’t of interest. We have wingers, what we need is a young C or D.

I’m so tired of seeing Engvall in trades man. An established Top 9 F for an AHL player. I like all the Leafs, just not Engvall, I don’t see any reason as to why you guys value him the way that you do.

If Engvaĺl would be given the opportunity, he could be a very good 3rd liner. He is fast, plays solid defensively and on the PK. He can even put up 30-40 points in my opinion.
