Colorado- John Gibson and Rickard Rakell

Toronto- Philip Grubauer

Anaheim- Alex Newhook, Bowen Byram, Timothy Lilijgren and 1st 2021 ( Toronto )

Colorado- gets the best goalie in NHL signed long term at a cheap cap his and a solid 2nd line winger signed to a cheap cap hit.

Toronto- the leafs get a starter who is probably a upgrade on Fredrick Anderson. Freddy Anderson could then be moved to Pittsburgh or Washington for a pick.

Anaheim- Jump starts their rebuild with 4 huge Pieces.

Anaheim comes out way ahead. I think it would be a maaaaaybe from Colorado and only because there team is stacked and Gibson is around the age of the core group.

Ebsolutely I don’t think you understand how good Gibson is. He is the most valuable goalie in NHL hands down.

Not sure any of these teams would accept the offer. Grubauer is a solid starter for Colorado, Toronto is happy with their tandem and Gibson is the solid goalie Anaheim needs to remain somewhat competitive as they rebuild.

I understand he’s been underrated his whole career. Colorado won’t trade that much of there future for a marginal upgrade. They can get a .920% for much cheaper. Arizona might like one of those three pieces for Kuemper.

I don’t think any team entertains that deal. All 3 probably have zero interest, but PENS, leafs don’t have Dell anymore. He was claimed on waivers by the Devils a while ago.

Nylander: to say Grubraur is younger and cheaper than Andersen is true, but he’s only 2 years younger AND he’s only cheaper till this June. He’s $3.3M and a UFA. So you trade for him and then he walks for nothing. Or you lose leverage because him and his agents know what you gave up for him. If you think he’s going to give up his 1 chance at UFA and sign on to be the starter for the Maple Leafs without a significant raise, you’re dreaming.

Just looked up Grubauers numbers and there impressive. Him and Kuemper or someone capable of being a 1B would be a really good goalie tandem.
