As good as Ekholm is the Jets still need a decent defensive system in order for him to really help the Jets. However this would be a start.

Nashville does have interest in Niku, so a first pick might do it. i'd throw in a second pick to make that deal happen if the oppurtunity presented itself. The jets lose nothing off their current Roster and get a top 4 defenceman to make a run.
