With the great moves by trading for Nash yesterday, and than putting both Nash and FAndersen on LTIR to free up close to 8 million in cap space, The Leafs are in a position to make a Trade just like this, they will still have to get a goaltender and they have just under 2 million to do that, but this Trade Proposal address the Top 6 at Forward and improves the Defense as well.

Not enough. Montour holds a good amount of value especially @ 50% retained. They could probably get a first for each of them in separate offers honestly.

Islanders and Devils Trade, the asking price has been decided around the NHL since that Trade, both THall and Montour are both pending UFAs just like Palmieri and Zajak, in fact my proposal give Buffalo more with an NHL Defenceman in Dermott plus a 2nd Round Pick compared to either a 4th or 3rd Round Pick, the price tag has been established, it won't change.

Montour before was actually a valuable piece, I think when he got traded for Guhle and the 1st he was supposed to be a top4 dman with high offensive potential.

Unfortunately, he just didn't pan out in Buffalo, his offence kinda stagnated and his defense never got any better, to the point where his defensive game is similar to Morgan Rielly's if I'm being honest. I think he gets a high 3rd, but I honestly don't think him by himself gets a 1st.

He could’ve atleast gotten a 2nd, they got robbed hard. It’s a weak draft too so idk why they were so eager to trade him for the lowest offer.
