No from Calgary. Tkachuk plays a much more valuable game and isn't overpaid. That contract would put Calgary in trouble. Marner makes 10.9M yikes, he’s getting paid like a franchise center when realistically he’s worth around 8mil per season.

Are you crazy? Worth 8 million a year? So he’s worth Matt Duchene, Jeff Skinnerz, PK Subban, Vlasic, Ryan Johanson, Evander Kane, Logan Couture, Kevin Hayes, Jacob Trouba, Brent Burns, Clayton Keller, Jamie Benn, David Krejic, Zach Parise, Andrew Ladd, Blake Wheeler, Nicklas Backstrom, etc?

These are the players making within a million dollars of 8 million a year in the NHL. Paniran is making like 11.6 million yes Paniran is better but he is older. Marner has more potential. I’d say Paniran and Marner are pretty equal in terms of value.

half those guys making ~8 mil are overpaid and the rest are either about as good as Marner or better than he his.

Panarin is top 6-7, Marner is top 20. Tkachuk is top 40.
If Toronto offered Marner for Brady I’d take it and Brady is a better playmaker, scorer, physical player and is younger than his brother, so idk what Calgary fans are on about.

I agree I’ll take Brady over Mathew and I’d consider those 2 as a base although I’d also want either C. Brown 50% retained back or a pick.

MoxNix take it easy man Marner was top 5 points wise this year I don’t think any players making 8 mill besides Draisaitl come close to his skill.
