Not sure if I like it or not, I don't know much about Chychrun.

Stats and scouting reports don't tell the whole story and I haven't seen him play enough to say whether he passes the eye test or not.

He'd have to be real solid all around to be worth a haul like that.

Arizona would be getting -TWO- 2022 1sts, Jake Debrusk and Kylington or Mackey for Jakob Chychrun.

Chych slowly evolved into a great top2 dman and is only improving. I think Arizonas set to build around him on their dcore and won't shop him unless something blows em away.

Arizona should keep chychrun. First rounds from 2 teams trying for deep playoffs won't be worth losing him. Chances are Calgary wants to lottery protect it anyways.

A solid D man is too hard to find. And he's young enough, to grow with the team, and keep them respectable. (Or pull in a huge haul down the road. )

Or involve him for eichel. Dahlin and chychrun could be the start of something.

Chychrun is a core piece for Arizona he’s 20 and already a stud you don’t move a core piece in a rebuild. He will be a future captain for Arizona. It’s like Tampa moving Kucherov or Ottawa moving Tkachuk just makes zero sense in terms of team direction and that’s not even commenting on value.
