Miller could fetch more and doesn’t really fit a need for Boston (they already have Marchand, Bergeron, Pasta, Hall, etc) .

I like J. T Miller but I'll take a big 24 year old right shot shutdown defenseman making $1.15 mil less over him every time.

Both teams probably say no. Boston because of the above, Vancouver because Petersson's production fell off a cliff when Miller was out.

I love Miller but that heavily favours Vancouver IMO. There’s a big age difference in the main pieces also and Debrusk is still a good player.

Three years isn’t a crazy age difference. Miller is a 215 lb, 70 point potential player. Who’s actually been close to a point per game in Vancouver. I think to act like it’s not even close is crazy.
