No one is going to give you a comparable goalie, a good defenseman and a first for Price at 25% retained. You'd likely have trouble getting one of those pieces for Price, never mind all 3.

I don't believe more than 50% of a contract can be retained, even when split by multiple teams. But I could be wrong - I thought they revised regulations to avoid that.
Also, retaining that much on Price that has several years left is not going to happen.
