Why would a bottom team pay picks for a poor goalie on an expiring contract?!

EDM would have to be the one including picks to move Koskinens money out. Teams at the bottom, who are not playoff bound, already have their own goaltenders who haven’t made enough saves for them. Why would they give you assets to take another one AND pay his salary? Lol come on.
