Thought that I would throw this here too.
Get ready to scroll..haha

Rumour has it that the Avs could be a preffered spot for P Kane to go but,...in my world, lol (our world)...P Kane says,..."lets take the harder path and meet up against the AVS IN THE FINALS" and wants to be close to home (but not sign there as a sabre as he knows the Leafs are close to winning the cup and feels he could put them into contention)

Auston and P.Kane have chatted via text and phone calls and send out that meme of their hands to thier ears hoping the Kyles can listen to their pleas and get a deal done fast!! Plus,...that way one of the Kyles doesn't talk about it to the media before it happens.

Toews hears wind of it and says to his GM that he also would like to fly from the Hawks and spread his wings on the branch of a Maple Tree.

Kyle Dubas (a former soo greyhound) comes up with a huge offer and says,..... for a "Nickel I would" to Kyle Davidson (former rival of the Sudbury Wolves) and adds a wink ;) and a smile :) just to break into the trade convo.

Kyle Dubas Knows that Kyle Davidson is all in the tank mode and actually wants to accomodate PK (not pk subban silly) and JT (not tavares either stoooopid) so he listens to the one and only offer it takes to make the deal.

But first a word to from our sponsor "the Coyotes".... who are willing to take two cap hits both at 25 % off of Chicago to accomadate the trade:

The Coyotes aquire homestate boy Knies and a signed 2.5 for 4 years Ras"miss yah later" Sandin, along with a 2025 2nd, and a 2026 1st along with Sending Lawson CROUSE back to the Maple Leafs.

The Leafs offer Chicago -

Topi -.896k
Kerfoot -3.5m
Holl -2.5m
Brodie -5m
Ovekinov-.835
2023 1st
2023 2nd
=12.731m out

for:

Patrick Kane - 50 % retained by Chicago then 25% additional decuction from Yotes = 2.625m

Jonathon Toews - 50 % retained by Chicago then 25% additional decuction from Yotes = 2.625m

Seth Jones - 9.5M (25% retention)=7.17m
=12.47

Now before you all go cap crazy- Yes Dubas also does a previous deal to accomadate the Seth Jones cap hit and The Ducks Pat Veer"beek"says like a true Duck going into a corner store for chapstick and says,....."Put it on my bill" and accomadates the Leafs with a 25% retention for a 2024 2nd round pick and a 2026 2nd round pick for the endurance of 4 years for the Seth Jones Contract which now becomes $7.17M per year for 4 years then back to 9.5 million for the rest of his signed contract 2029/30

imagine:

Marner - Matthews - Kane
Crouse - JT - Nylander
Bunting - Toews - Jarnkrok
Robertson - Kampf -Abue-Kubel
simmonds

Morgan - Jones
Gio - Lilly
Muzzin - Benn

Once a team, Ducks, takes on some of a salary and cap hit of a player, Jones, they are responsible for it for the entire length of the contract not just a couple of years. Other than that it's a interesting trade fantasy.

Islandjet- Thanks for letting me know about the duration as I never knew it went totally like that and obviously deals may have to be upped in order for all parties to be satified with it to make it work.

This is ridiculous.
Chicago gave up 2 firsts and a second for jones alone.

The closest the Leafs have been to a cup in over half a century is when it's on display at the Hockey Hall of Fame!

I’m glad you see the humour in it, that’s a positive indeed. The longer the posts, the less sense they make. But… you had a sense of humour and didn’t take yourself too seriously and get over-sensitive with feedback or votes, so I give you kudos for being refreshingly different ?

For the humour and the fact this wasn’t from one of the omnipresent posters that continually post one-sided proposals for their team, I give you big points for being original. ?.
