VGK: Marchessault, 2nd & 3rd (2023)

NYI: Varlamov


VGK needs goaltending after foolishly choosing the wrong goalie. NYI get some more pop up front and a couple of picks. Cap hits equal out except NYI have an extra year of Marchy.

On a side note it's nice to see this page return to some form of normal without the name calling and snippy comments. It never has to be that way if people communicate as if they're speaking in person as opposed to anonymously posting on a web page. Kudos one and all?

A good trade for both teams Chickenfoot. The only way this wouldn't be done is if Vegas decides to tank to get into the Bedard hunt.

@islandjet there's no way that Vegas goes for the Bedard hunt. They have solid pieces up front and I'm seriously guessing Stone, Pietrangelo and Eichel wouldn't be too pleased that the team doesn't even try to contend

This is a team that is built to challenge for the Cup, or was or should be? There would have to be some kind of investigation if this team was the winner of the Bedard sweepstakes . Arizona Chicago and my Habs are all the contenders for that.

Agreed Marchessault is a 60-70 point player. Switch the picks to NYI and I’d consider it a loss on Vegas side but maybe a believable trade.
