Thought behind this:

Detroit gets a solid defenseman that is hard to play against. Detroit also gets rid of the dead cap with Nedeljkovic in the minors.

Going to Vancouver to play under Ian Clark could really improve his play as well.


Vancouver takes a gamble on a goalie... as Delia is up for a contract extension. Canucks also free up cap space a tiny bit.

Neither team is cap strapped are they? Vancouver could’ve just taken him off waivers if they wanted him.
