Habs say HECK no.

Having a player like Demidov fall to you in the draft is simply too rare. No chance a rebuilding team passes on realizing his potential within the structure of their rebuild.

As a Habs fan, I've been waiting for a dynamic offensive forward all my life. Lafluer was near his end when I really remember following. Richer gave us some hope with a couple 50 goal seasons, but was to inconsistent.
It's to early to tell, will he be a Kaprizov with a little Kucherov? Or will he be Nakita Filatov? I am hoping he's gonna be great, and look forward to seeing how he plays for the Habs..
The offer is somewhat interesting . My head says.. maybe... haha , but heart says no

Realistically if Habs were offered that they would take it. Dubois at 4 mil with the rising cap would be the equivalent to 2 mil in a few seasons that would be the best value contract in NHL history. Not to mention Lenoard while not as Dynamic by any means could end up being the better 2 way player some day I see him as a future Justin Williams.
