With Pit imo looking for a full rebuild this would be the talk of the off-season if this could happen, Malkin isn't going to waive his NTC but maybe Crosby does, Pens really only have 2 trade chips worth anything and that's Crosby and Karlsson and this is something I really believes helps both Teams going forward.

As much as I like Crosby, that is just way to much of the future going the other way for a player closer to 40 than 30.. that seems like more than the Oilers got 35 years ago for prime Gretzky.

Dach, Reinbacher and either a 2025 or 2026 1st Rounder.
Is that fair for both Teams?

Crosby would fetch a underwhelming return because Crosby would dictate where he goes (closed market) .

Most importantly, it’s Crosby that says no.

He’s made it clear to those that know him best that he's a one-team athlete. He’s given absolutely no indication to think otherwise.

Yah I think the idea of him leaving has came and went. He's got his cups and his accolades. I think now you see him focusing on making the younger guys better and riding out the last of his contract with Malkin and Letang.
