to be honest this is one of the better proposals I've seen. Critiques about Eichel also apply to Tarasenko to a lesser extent.

Lol okay there’s also a chance of a career ending concussion every time you step on the ice. It sounds to me like Eichel will for sure be playing again and a good chance with the surgery he wants won’t affect his play.

The longer Eichel is out the less he's worth.
If the Sabres keep winning more without him than they ever did with him pretty soon the whole league is going to realize the real problem in Buffalo was Eichel all along.

This is very close so great post. The only counter I have is that Carolina are quite high on keeping both of those prospects.
You may be able to get one of them and then add picks/ lesser prospects to balance it out.
Canes may pull the trigger on your deal but would probably prefer to keep one of Rees or Tieksola if they can.
