Sandin is a great prospect, probably will make the NHL full time next year, or potentially be a full time member by the end of this year, but he is not an elite player like Makar, and a guy like Brooks does not make up the difference. He will be a 3C at best, but more likely he will replace Gauthier as the 4C.

All overpaid. Maybe not Burns, but in a couple of years his contract will look bad as well. Vlasic would help with the defensive side with things, but he is a LHD when we need a RHD.

The Sharks should jump at this trade for any of the 3 d-men mentioned. They get younger to start their rebuild and rid themselves of a expensive contract and an older player whose contract will be trouble for them in couple of years. The Leafs would get a much needed true #1 d-man who will help them the next couple of years while their window to win is wide open.

Blues won the cup on luck, they aren't great. A lot of the top teams floundered in the first round so bottom teams had a way better chance. Worst final I can remember.

What is it going to cost the leafs to get a good back up? Like Jarry form Pittsburgh or even that young kid the Canadians just brought up?

If the Jets wants that young kid we just brought up, Cayden Primeau, Bergevin said it would take an elite center in the NHL to get him to think about. So I don't think Jets would want to give up they're stud elite center since they only have 1.

Honestly what nhl team in the nhl is willing to part with a young good goalie. The cap era has made GMs covet young cheap assets. I think the leafs are going to need to pay for a quality vetran back up.

Primeau is probably worth Rasmus Sandin. Goalies generally have much less value then Skaters. Both prospects project to be very promising and both teams should hold onto them.

Casey DeSmith and Jarry have been available since the start of the season, both wouldn’t cost all that much. DeSmith would be a bit cheaper. Both could be a step up on Hutchison. A 3rd round pick tops for Jarry, maybe a 4th or later for DeSmith.

Maybe a 4th or later for Troy grosenick from Nashville, the 30 year old was the AHL goalie of the year 2017. finished 4th in SP last year, he has only played 2 NHL games one was a 45 save shut out. This guy has done his share of time in the minors imo.
