One of the most realistic trades for Hall I’ve seen yet. If Montreal makes this trade, it would signal the end of the rebuild and show they are serious about contending again. Primeau is the prize and Jersey really really needs him a lot more than Hall. Excellent suggestion.

Mtl should not trade Primeau straight up for Hall. After seeing him play tonight, even Hall and a second round pick I'd say no from MTL. I'd trade Price before Primeau any day of the week.20 years old, dominates the AHL, and makes 37 saves in his NHL debut against the best scoring NHL team. Wow!

Good luck trading Price with that monster contract of his. When Montreal signed that deal they virtually locked Price up for life. And he is still one of the best in the world, so why not? It’s great Primeau is doing so good, but that just means he brings more value in a trade of some sort. He’s still unproven, despite his first game success.
