Wow. That would be a pretty easy no and don't call back from San Jose.

2.) 13 Dec 2019 18:24:21
Don’t see Mtl trading Price until Primeau has another year or two nhl experience. Maybe they run a tandem for a while and see how it goes before committing to Primeau without an alternative as plan B just in case.

3.) 13 Dec 2019 19:13:51
Let's just ease off on the Price trade rumours. . Primeau, may be a decent one, however, he has played 2 games. let's jus all relax here lol . Wasnt Lindgren also going to be the hier to the Habs net? Yes Primeau is the better prospect., but ya don't trade your star after a rough November.

4.) 14 Dec 2019 18:48:56
It's time to trade Price. His window to win a championship is narrowing rapidly. I just can't see Price spearheading the Habs to a Cup any time soon. The most savvy GMs out there know when the time is right to trade their star players. Regarding Price, the time is now. The sooner, the better for both parties.

HABS: Maata

Hawks: Cousins and Fleury.

Not a chance . I really like Fluery, I think he can be a solid top 4 D man on Habs for years to come.
Never been a big fan of Maata.

2.) 13 Dec 2019 18:32:57
I don’t see how this helps Chicago either. They want to compete now and Fleury + Cousins doesn’t help them get any better for the immediate future. Fleury does look good though, so I can’t see Mtl trade him either.

Habs: Dunn

BLUES: Leikonnen and Brook.

Blues can not afford to trade any young lhd assets.

Habs: Rakell

Ducks: 2nd round pick and Poehling.

Montreal fans must really think highly of this Poehling guy, he's included in literally every trade proposal I've seen on here.

2.) 10 Dec 2019 01:31:22
Poehling's future upside has been grossly overstated by media, management, and fans. He'll never amount to more than a third line center.

Let's all do the following exercise and compile a list of the top 10 most untouchable players in the NHL right now. Players who would demand an arm, leg, and head from other teams in a trade. Let's see...

McDavid
Draistl
Marchand
Hedman
P. Kane
MacKinnon
Kucherov
Ovechkin
Austin Matthews
Crosby

Can we all agree on this list? Perhaps we can argue to include Bergeron, Eichel, Dahlin, Marner, Tavares, Josi, E. Peterson,

1.) 10 Dec 2019 22:15:25
I think some of those guys are too old to be on a most untouchable top 10 list. Eichel and Dahlin are more untouchable than anyone except for a few on that list.

2.) 11 Dec 2019 03:58:15
I agree ebbs Peterson is more untouchable then most on the list too imo.

3.) 11 Dec 2019 04:55:35
Pasternak is more untouchable than most those guys. His contract makes him more valuable than most those guys.
McKinnon, Pasta, Marchand, Makar, Drai. Are more valuable because of their current contracts.
I would have Eichel at $1.4M less than Matthews on that list before Matthews not going to lie.

4.) 11 Dec 2019 06:22:49
I think stars under 28? Somewhere around there are untouchable. the ones over that age on this list, I can't see be moved. However, ya never know
If Wayne Gretzky can be traded. twice. anyone can.

5.) 11 Dec 2019 14:53:37
I don’t think Drais is untouchable because of McDavid I feel if Columbus offered up Dubouis and Jones Edmonton would move drais. Tavares shouldn’t be untouchable.

6.) 11 Dec 2019 15:49:21
Dubois and Jones can get almost anyone in the league VB so not a great point.

Domi's play as of late has been extremely disconcerting.

McDonagh Will be a solid top line defenseman for the next 5 seasons. He will also be excellent insurance if and when Habs trade away Weber. He is a few years younger than Weber.

In reference to HockeyFanatic's question, my trade proposal would provide Habs with a no.1 center for the next 4 years. As a result, Habs chances of making playoffs and advancing beyond first round will increase considerably. Malkin should deliver between 70-80 pts a season here. He is still a dominant center. Habs fans in MTL have been aching for management to acquire a bonafide proven no.1 center for decades now. Malkin would fill that need nicely for the next 4 seasons.
