I think if nuge is getting traded, it has to involve a bigger package. 1 for 1 doesn't work with him. He's a 6million dollar center, that actually also looked pretty good on the wing, and we know he can play there. Why take the risk in trading for any performing winger in the 5-6million range when we know what we have with nuge. Plus for depth, he can play center if required. I don't disagree with trading him, as he's injury prone and currently his stock is the highest, i just think it can't be a 1 for 1 trade.

This looks good on paper, however the thing people always forget is human factor. If shattenkirk isn't living up to his paycheque in New York (The team he specifically wanted to go to), how do you think he's going to perform in Edmonton, i believe a team he specifically did NOT want to go to when he was leaving St. Louis?
