Canucks will have to unload Eriksson like the Leafs unloaded Marleau to sign Marner but see a fit for both Teams.

The Canucks do not have to unload Eriksson. We have 5 mil in cap space right now, when we send two players to the AHL at the start of the year we will be a just over 7 which is what Boeser wants AAV, we can sign Boeser without trading Eriksson. And this doesn’t even mention the fact that Roussel is going on LTIR when the season starts which will free up another 4 mil.

The Canucks are NOT in a cap crunch and we do NOT need to trade Eriksson. And, we are definitely not doing that gift for Toronto. You can keep Marner and his 11+ mil contract or you can trade him for under market value, those are your openly two options.

As far as your trade itself? Trash. The difference between Boeser and Marner is NO WHERE NEAR a blue chip D prospect like Hughes. Keep dreaming.

Do us all a favour and stick with your AHL’ers for Parise at half retained Pinball, at least those are less garbage than this.

Marner will our produce McDavid for sure with more ice time and better pp. Sundin And Keon also have nothing on Marner or even Mathews ( if healthy ) . Marner will lead the league in points next Season.

Nylander will get almost a PPG if put with Mathews.

Marner will carry Tavares to what ever amount of points he gets. Maybe Nylander 77 points, Mathews 92 points, Tavares 99 points ( all Marner 70 points without him ) and 122 points for Marner. McDavid will put up 119 points and Kucherov will put up 127.

Also if Nylander got 20 minutes a per game on a line with Draistle-McDavid-Nylander he could easily put up 90+ points.

What about I just said is unreasonable you can not provide an argument to discredit my statement all you can do is click the disagree button maybe I’m wrong about Keon and Sundin because me being a 2001 I haven’t seen Keaon or a prime sundin but I’ll wager that he’ll be known as that by the time he retires which is a possible scenario with decent probability.

Didn’t Kucherov just get 120 points? If Kucherov can, then why can’t Marner? I can see Marner breaking 100 points regularly. An Art Ross or Hart trophy is easily possible. Marner is very similar to a young Patrick Kane. Very Similar.

Beside Tavares he's obviously hitting 100 but the leafs aren't the lightning. Tampa broke records, leafs didn't break anything. Almost everybody on the lightning had career years. Marner ain't hitting 130 any time soon
