I keep saying it. sounding like a broken record, but don't give up on Drouin yet. and I agree with what Yupp says.
Also, that 1st round pick, pretty sure will be another lottery pick.

And Vancouvers D is looking pretty nice with Edler/ Myers and Tanev/ Hughes. Trading their second line center and leader when their center depth isn’t that nice for a D they don’t really really need. They would have way too big a hole and weakened at center if they did this. And Montreal would have way too big a joke at D if they did this.
Both team says no. This is not a well thought out trade for team needs at all.

Not even close to realistic talent wise, value wise, cap wise AND Habs give a first round to boot?

If Habs don't make playoffs this season and go on a deep run, expect Weber to request a trade next summer. He recently stated that he'd like a serious shot at winning the cup before he's done playing. I believe Price iterated the same sentiment recently. Both of their windows are closing rapidly. So, now would be a good time to trade either or both players and get a decent return.
