I don't think the Blues would add to Parayko even taking age and contract into account. Good RHD are pretty rare.

Wtf. Peg would be adding to Ehlers to get Parayko not the other way around. That’s one of the worst proposals I’ve seen in a while, not even worth a counter.

I did ehlers deal to accommodate winnipeg fans. so parayko is worth ehlers plus. that's the change, i simply added to wrong team. Remember barbasev isn't that good but hey whatever that's fine.
And somehow this is the worst proposal in a while. simply take barbasev out and add stanley in. now youll all say no way stanley is too young and is future of jets D and can't be included. I think some on here unless they make the proposal just disagree to everything.

Mayfield being from st. louis was actually my target and since parayko is from saskachewan a province over thought hey winnipeg needs a D. then since ehlers would be the target teams would want back for a D this might all work out fine.

Ehlers is worth more than risto by a lot according to people here but párayko is worth more than ehlers. i think some of you need to make up your mind.

He may not be poor but he certainly is not worth parayko not by a long shot. He is a left winger and not a need for the blues. Regardless of how leaf fans think that parayko is a 2 or 3 the on most teams (pure b's imo) he is actually a 1rhd who plays defence first gets 30 35 points. A player of his caliber brings back a 1c not a 60pt winger.

I think st. louis improves overall with these deals as ehlers plus a callup is better than sanford and barbosev. also mayfield won't be much of a dropoff from parayko on this st. louis team. just something to think about before judging this kind of deal.

Oh and no chance parayko brings back a 1C. If you can tell me the last 1C to even get dealt for a defenceman ill be impressed. this kind of deal is far and few inbetween. last one i remember was ryan johanson for seth jones. at the time they were both just coming out of elc and were only in their early 20s not mid 20s.

Parayko also isn't a top pairing guy. but hey if you truely feel snd believe he is go nuts. i won't stop ya.

Look blues have no need to trade parayko. Not for anything less than an overpayment. Craigger tell me last time going stud #1rhd got traded for a bunch of lesser pieces.

is Parayko a STUD dman? to st. louis fans he is but in reality he is a shutdown dman on good nights and may get 30-35 points. that's not a stud but whatever.

Parayko is probably going nowhere, he will be a staple on the blues D for many many years. that's why this form is called rumor not reality. if it was reality trades then i guess this page wouldn't exist. blah blah blah.

Its not getting emotional. Its a reality. Unfortunately you base a dmans ability solely on pts. Yeah he gets 30-35 pts but he also plays defense and he does iot beter than any player on the leafs currently. I use the leafs a lot because it seems to be the only team you are informed about. Every person on this site knows I hype parayko, but they also know he is a very valuable and is rated at a low end #1rhd. If he got say 60pts + he would be Norris caliber. That's a fact.

parayko doesn't get 60 points so he isn't norris calibre. if hedman got 35 points he wouldn't be norris caliber but he gets 60+ points so he is norris caliber.

if mcdavid only got 50 points he wouldn't be up for hart either. woulda coulda shoulda doesn't get you awards. doing does.


i don't overhype leaf players around here. as you can read nothing about this post had to do with leafs and once again you keep going back to comparing them. Hedman for Parayko straight up would never fly so why do you keep putting Parayko in that class thinking his value is that of a true 1C.

i don't care about points I just see it as a fact. Parayko isn't a 1D. not because of his lack of points but because of his lack of talent that a player needs to be a 1D. simple as that.

advanced stats shows us Parayko isn't a top pairing Dman. not this year, not last year . no years. he is what he is a mid 20s more defensive than offensive dman. what ever team you choose to cheer for he would make a great 2nd pairing Dman as long as he is paired with a puck moving dman. its as simple and easy as that. you can't build your D around him but he is definetly a great complimentary piece to the back end.
