So another offensive dman? What is needed is a solid defensive dman. If any of the 3 Vlasic is the biggest need.

All overpaid. Maybe not Burns, but in a couple of years his contract will look bad as well. Vlasic would help with the defensive side with things, but he is a LHD when we need a RHD.

I don't think the sharks trade any of the guys anyway.

Nylander and Kapanen couldn’t get a 34 year old Burns? I love the guy but I’d rather the leafs trade one for one for a younger, lesser caliber, defensive minded defenseman.

The Sharks should jump at this trade for any of the 3 d-men mentioned. They get younger to start their rebuild and rid themselves of a expensive contract and an older player whose contract will be trouble for them in couple of years. The Leafs would get a much needed true #1 d-man who will help them the next couple of years while their window to win is wide open.

islandjet, except it makes no sense to get Burns or Karlsson. They already have Reilly and Barrie for offense. Vlasic is the only one that makes any sense. I do agree San Jose would be wise to trade them for younger players.

Not only does Toronto not have enough cap space for a move like that, but Eklund is a complete joke and so is his site.
