Brodie is walking after this year for nothing . Bennett has value no doubt but how much?

Desmith is best goalie not playing in NHL and can step up to a #1 B spot. Rikola is a young d man with some potential. Only other penguin who is an option is Simon.

Who is better than desmith? Look how he carried the pens last year. The leafs would kill for a backup of this quality. A huge upgrade to Calgary or a lot of teams. Desmith is better cory S from devils who just cleared waivers too.

Do I really have to list 20 goalies outside the nhl who are better then desmith? Wouldn't it just be easier for you to take off your pens goggles and see for yourself.

When a goalie clears waivers is he still considered a legit NHL back up to you jerkbait? Become rn I would consider him an AHL goalie and not a big the big upgrade the leafs would be looking to give up assets for, I am surprised that nobody claimed him tho. but that's what happened.

Again in toronto media desmith is the trade target. He carried the pens last year when murray was down. NHL experience and huge upgrade over what they have. He didn't get claimed because his cap hit is higher than most would fork over for a backup goalie however leafs have no chocie.
