Somehow I think the Jackets would rather keep Anderson. Plus the Jets have no need for wingers. Especially one having a bad year, looking for a big raise and with arbitration rights. So trading a center for a winger doesn't work for Winnipeg.

Anderson carries the Jackets third line. He is more valuable to their team than Gustafson could ever be.

My bad. I read Joes Response first and made the same mistake.

Lias Andersson has asked for a trade and is no longer playing in the AHL. If NYR can get even this for him they should.

Yes vb. I said that. That was before I realized he asked for a trade. Now that he is asking for a trade and wants out, his value drops. A lot. We all know once a player is unhappy and makes trade demands, his value drops. Rangers still like his play, but he doesn’t feel like he is getting the opportunity. He and Chytil are still good prospects. They better get it turned around soon though.
