Jankowski isn’t having a good year so I can understand why you think Calgary would do this. But where do they play Lehkonen then? Unless he can play his off wing (I don’t know if he can), then he is stuck on the third line left wing behind Gaudreau and Tkachuk.

3rd liner who can fill in on the 2nd line if needed really good defensively and a solid penalty killer they would find room. Last I checked the flames are not running away with the presidents trophy or anything so regardless of what you might think lehkonen is an upgrade on some of their forwards.

I’m not arguing you on whose better. I’m just saying he might not be the right fit. Lehkonen only makes just over two million so is the right price for a third line wing. It just seems like a waste having him on third line. And it would take some juggling to make him fit in the top six.

Yes and what your saying would make sense if the proposed trade was lehkonen for Monahan or tkachuk or something. But what I'm saying is the flames accept this and they worry about where lehkonen plays later.

Ok. I see what your saying. Calgary makes the trade without worrying about minor things like where to play him and who he plays with? That makes so much sense to me now. Glad you cleared that up.

You can't honestly see where Calgary does this? Even though lehkonen is better then half their forward group I mean I wouldn't complain if we could get Monahan for Jordan weal lol. Fitting in an upgrade is never hard to do bud especially when you can get an upgrade for next to nothing. hopefully this time it clears things up for you cause I can only waste so much time at this.
