Easy no from Vancouver. Laine is a one dimensional, greedy player and a headache, and I’d much rather keep our Captain than get him, and Gaudette is better than both Heinola or Vesalainen. Tanev is having a great year and *knock on wood* hasn’t been injured yet, no reason to trade him.

I meant Heinola and Vaselianen are more valuable then Tanev and Gaudette. Horvat is obviously a lot more valuable then the two being a 1B C on a value contract.

Laine has like 3 more points than Horvat, Horvat is way better two way player and a C. Wouldn’t trade Horvat for Laine from a nucks POV straight up. We already have a Laine like player in Boeser. Don’t see Jets trading Heinola. Obviously Heinola and Vesa are worth more than pending UFA Tanev and Gaudette but don’t see either team doing this.

Agree on not trading Laine for Horvat straight up. Laine is 3 years younger and already a far superior player. Horvat wouldn't even start the conversation.

The irony of being called a super-homer by the biggest homer on this site is interesting to say the least.

As EP40 said, Horvat has 3 less points than Laine but his 200 foot game is worlds apart, add that with the fact that he’s a center who dominates the face off circle. well, I think that’s speaks for itself. The short of it is, Jets would be adding to a Laine for Horvat swap, not the other way around. Even if the Jets ‘super-homer’ doesn’t want to admit it.
