If Byram was a RD and along with the 1st it would at least be a place to start for Connor. As it would be a young high upside player in a position of need for a young, established scoring winger on a great contract. Kadri is nice, but too old to be accepted as a major piece in a deal for a young winger.

Connor just turned 23 and is on a great contract until 2026. He's becoming a player that can drive a line by himself and is a solid 30+ goal scorer. It's a nice offer and Byram looks to be a good d-man but he has yet to show what he can do in the NHL. Kadri is 29 and has/ will be on the decline in the next 2 seasons, while the #1 will be in the high 20's. Jets wouldn't do this trade for this offer.

Well I feel like this trade offer was just posted a little while ago here. I definitely heard the Avs were interested in Connor.

The value does not seem too far off but I can understand if it does not align with team needs.

@mcmarcus and @islandjet, What would you look for in return from the Avs for Connor?

Chances are MacKinnon, Rantanen and Makar are untouchable but the rest seem possible.

No way Connor fetches Bryam and Kadri and I doubt Roslovic fetches a 1st

The Jets are not going to trade Connor for a player that has yet to play in the NHL and the rest is a weak package.
