I think the term and money of Andersson's contract makes him very valuable to any team considering the asking prices from players nowadays and it’ll just continue to get higher

Sure he has a good contract but that deal would hurt them long term and especially short term. Nylander is far better and could get a better Dman.

Robertson is the leafs best forward prospect. They will not be trading him any time soon, and he is a LW, not a C. That leafs need help on LW up front. If that trade is made without Robertson it is still fair anyway.

Unbiased, you have seen their stats right? You understand Nylander is an Elite player and Anderson is simply a top 4 d. You don’t trade elite players for decent players.

Lol Nylander isn’t exactly old either. I think he’s 22 maybe? But there is just no way the Leafs trade Nylander with Andersson as a main piece. If anything trade him for futures and sign Petrangelo.
