Montreal definitely adds not a huge amount but definitely a solid or a few nice pieces.

29 Apr 2020 05:15:43
I would wait and see if Patrick gets healthy but tbh I don’t see where he could fit in Montreal’s lineup.

29 Apr 2020 06:05:27
Montreal doesn’t add cause they don’t do it. And they probably don’t care whether philly would or not.

29 Apr 2020 06:24:54
Why would you want injury prone Patrick?

29 Apr 2020 13:31:26
Patrick isn’t injury Prone he had one bad concussion obviously time will tell how that turns out but assuming he fully recovers he certainly has more value then Caufield.

29 Apr 2020 14:47:33
Doesnt he suffer from severe migraines?

29 Apr 2020 14:47:57
Would be cold by time you got it though?

29 Apr 2020 19:34:47
Why? Patrick is a good player and younger but doesn't fit with what the Habs. Caufield will be peeking at the same time as the rest of the younger core where as Patrick will be nearing the end of his prime

29 Apr 2020 21:49:30
I believe Patrick can become the next Tyler Seguin, that's why I offered this.

30 Apr 2020 00:19:29
Campabee Patrick is barely 2 years older.

30 Apr 2020 04:32:35
Vbbbvvbv and by the time Caufield, KK, Romanov and others hit their prime at about 23 he will be what 25-27 that is past or near the back end of his prime like I said

30 Apr 2020 04:45:42
I don't understand why you have such a hardon for Patrick, he has never scored more than 41 goals in any league and in the NHL he has never had more than 13 goals and 31 points those are more in line of what Armia already brings. Why trade a guy who is one year removed from breaking Mathews USNDT record for a guy that we already basically have in Armia

30 Apr 2020 15:42:19
Buddy Nolan Patrick is the same age Kotekneimi when Kotekneimi is 23 Patrick will be 23 Patrick is 20 years old and already has 2 seasons under his belt. He has the potential to be a 2 way force like Towes and assuming he is healthy worst case he’s a solid 2 C who is elite in his own end like Cirelli. Yeah his point totals weren’t that high but that he was in a shut down role in the Nhl when others like Caufield are in the miniors.

30 Apr 2020 16:01:27
The question with Patrick has always been health tho. Even in junior he wasn’t 100% healthy and it lead him to falling to #2 in the draft. Also I just don’t see him fitting into Montreal’s lineup, as you have Suzuki, Kotkaniemi, Danault, Domi, poehling. Not to mention a top 8 pick in a draft where most of the projected top 10 are centres. They also have very few prospects on the wing that can score. I have no doubt that if healthy Patrick can be a great top 6 C but the needs aren’t there for Montreal to do this.

01 May 2020 06:33:28
He’s almost 2 full years older then kk vbbb not that matters much to the initial trade proposal.

01 May 2020 19:45:30
Was thinking KK went after him in 2017 but KK was drafted then next season.

01 May 2020 20:12:12
Vbbbvvbb, even with hi being only 2 years older than KK, Suzuki, Caufield and Romanov he is still has never even hit 15 goals in a single season!!! his highest point total is 31 Armia had basically the same stats and the Habs needs are a #1 LHD and a top 6 SCORING winger. Caufield is that scoring winger not Patrick. Patrick is a 3rd or 4th line winger at best. Like I said before Patrick = Armia not Caufield unless your high!

03 May 2020 12:45:42
Vbbb do you not know how to read a profile or stat sheet? First you try and tell me Leafs have over 7 million in cap hit next year, and now you don't even know if Patrick is older than kotkenimi. You need to check your facts before spouting off.

04 May 2020 04:18:13
Sr.LouisFan, Vbbb thinks he can simply subtract the total value of the contrac5s coming off the books to get the amount of cap space his beloved Laffs have without considering that Johnsson's 3.4 mill will be added and they still owe 1.2 Mil for Kessel for the next few years. In actuality if the cap remains at 81.5 the Laffs will have about 5 mill to spend on 5 players with Dermont, Mikheyev, Malgin and Gautier all needing at least qualifying offers but more likely Dermont is looking at 2-3.5 Mil, Malgin and Gautier likely can be had for 1.2-1.4 Mil. Mikheyev is likely another 1.5-2 Mil that's about 5.9 mil when they only have 5 mil space and they still would need 2 forwards or to play the entire season with just 21 players and no extras that's cap management Laffs style for you lmao
