Another trade that involves Bracco. He isn't worth much on the trade market let alone Mittelstadt.

islandjet and vbbbvvbb Bracco had 34 points in 44 games that's not a bust player, Mittelstadt was comparable with 25 points in 36 games, so really it's a wash plus Dermott for Jokiharju is also a wash except the Right-hand Left-hand difference.

Jokiharju has a year left on his ELC so he has more value and Middelstad is younger with NHL expirence.

Bracco is 23 and never had a sniff at the NHL even when the Leafs weren't very good while Mittelstadt is 21 and is played some NHL games. Bracco isn't worth much in a trade.

Disagreeing over a couple AHL players that both suck and could use a scenery change sounds like pointless bickering and nit-picking.

It's a low level trade of a couple prospects that haven't worked out well for either team. Maybe one of them can get lucky and get so. eone back that actually plays a few games in the NHL and pots a goal or two. Otherwise, it's relatively inconsequential. Neither of these guys is going to make their team into cup contenders.

Mittlestadt is the bigger bust than Bracco. Given where he was drafted, and the extremely high expectations in him, he has been a huge let down for Buffalo. Much more so than Bracco has been for Toronto.

I can see both teams making this deal fairly easily. Throw in a pick or b-prospect from whatever team you think it leans against heavily and it seems fair to me.

The thing is I don’t even think Bracco is a B prospect anymore I think it’s like a 15% chance he can make the nhl and if he does he’ll be a 50-60 point player but he’s probably just going to end up being a European star because his defensive play is weak for even the AHL.
