Don’t know if either do it.

For Habs - Armia has a lot more track record and is a good piece that can play up and down the lines. Effective in different situations.

For Leafs - they invested a lot of time and effort in recruiting Mikheyev. Almost 2 years of staying in contact while he was playing in the K. I think they really like what he did in a small sample and will bet on his progression.

Mikheyev albeit with a very small sample size has looked decent and his new contract might be lower then Armia which would even out the value some but for me I don’t make this deal, Armia is the better overall player at this point.

Interesting, but Mikheyev is likely going to make less then Armia after arbitration so I think the leafs pass. They are kind of in the same cap situation as Montreal right now.
