i just heard apparently now there are talks about trading laine to chicago, what do you guys think of what chicago could offer?

I don't think Chicago has the cap space to do it and they don't have a young top 4 RHD with top pairing potential that Winnipeg would want.

It is possible I guess Casual. If the Jets scouts believe he can be a top pair guy, he could be a start. To me Boqvist is a bit small and doesn't seem to be top pair material, but it is possible. I don't see the Jets trading Laine in division though unless the return is crazy.

The Jets shouldn't trade Laine now as they won't come close to getting a fair return. Laine shouldn't be traded for anything less than a young top pairing d-man.
