JVR does not have a lot of value on the trade market imo. He does bring value if he keeps up his good play this year and is also in the trade to balance salary.

I think that's an overpayment for Gaudreau . If i'm Calgary, i take this and run.

JVR's salary alone is more than Gaudreau's.

Konecny is a nice start, a pretty decent player in a position of need for Calgary. I'm not sure about Myers, no idea how good (or bad) he is.

I’m with ebsolutely here Konecny>Guadreau. Guadreau is a better player but he’s nearing UFA and will require a huge extension. Konecny is younger, cheaper, term controlled and is better player outside of the ozone. Guadreau is worth something similar to what Stone brought to Ottawa.
