Nashville gets what they would want in the start of a retool and rebuild.

Toronto gets the Top 6 Forward they have been looking for at a cost but worth the cost in there situation.

Thoughts ?

Mikheyev and the 1st are a start but it's going to take more than that to get Forsberg. A whole lot more if you want Nashville to retain salary too.

We aren't talking about Connor McDavid, Forsberg is just a step up from WNylander but not anywhere near a Matthews or Marner.
In my proposal Nashville is getting 2 NHL mid aged Forwards plus Sandin a Top Defenceman Prospect and a 1st Round Pick, if Nashville decides to Trade Forsberg they would want a lot, this is a lot for one player but I feel this type of move helps The Leafs huge to win it all this year.

This is what I'd say is about right, maybe toss in an extra third/ fourth or something to NSH, but this is the type of haul that Forsberg would probably get. I don't know if Toronto is willing to part ways with Sandin, but if they want Forsberg, this is probably the price. Good trade imo.

Probably pretty close. We will hopefully find out. Dubas has made some pretty good trades so far so I have faith that if he gets Forsberg, the price will be something we could live with.
