The Flyers roll on the floor historically laughing at that offer.

Filip Forsburg for Sean Monahan, Jusso Valimaki and 1st?

30 Mar 2021 10:01:26
@nylander why?

Konecny 61pt player 5’10

Gaudreau 99pt player 5’9
- lives in Philly
- fiancé lives in Philly
- family lives in Philly
So don’t say he won’t resign there and he won’t be an expensive resign, probably like 7mil at the most

Patrick 30pt player
- injury prone
- spent most of the season on 4th line.

1) I like this one. Gio could get more, but with buyers market this may get him.
2) I think Konechny + 1st gets Gaudreau
3) Might be a bit too steep for Monahan especially in a buyers market.

Also for the first one, Leafs may prefer to give one of Liligren or Amirov rather than giving up pretty much their entire fourth line (who have played quite well recently)

30 Mar 2021 12:56:37
Fair enough Webjac. I don’t disagree, I think you may be right on all those points. Maybe adding Patrick is a little too much.

30 Mar 2021 14:44:47
Also I don’t know if you guys have been living under a rock but Girodanos play has fell off a cliff he has barely looked nhl caliber this season.

My last post didn’t post but Guadreau hasn’t been a PPG in 2 years and isn’t worth a young term controlled player on a good contract. Let alone adding a player who was drafted 2nd overall a few years ago AND a 1st. Even Patrick and 1st would probably be a no from Philly.

Frost, B prospect, 1st and 2nd is probably more then what Guadreau gets.

I’m guessing Hall gets a 2nd and B Prospect at 50% retained.

@Nylander Giordano is better than Muzzin in pretty much every way and brings many intangibles. the only thing that really hurts his value is how old he is.

31 Mar 2021 00:00:51
Interesting.

1. I like it but not sure if Toronto will. Toronto is shopping all 3 of those players but I don't know if they'd want to give them all up. And of course it'd all depend on if Dumbass wants Gio or not.

2. I Like this one too. Maybe Calgary adds a 3rd or 4th round pick.

3. I don't like this one. Hang onto Monny and see how he looks after a year of playing with a LW who doesn't vanish when the game gets a little rough.

31 Mar 2021 00:03:14
I can't see any of these being viable offers.

31 Mar 2021 00:04:23
@Nylander Forsberg and 2nd might get Monahan. You're proposal is absurd.

31 Mar 2021 08:13:43
Nolan Patrick was drafted 2nd overall a few years ago. His migraines were hereditary not from a injury that’s the equivalent of callings someone who beat cancer injury prone. I’d say his value is probably Jacob Peltier and a 2nd. The fact he’d resign in Philly holds zero value. If that’s the case the Flyers will just wait until he’s a UFA.

Also calling Johnny Guadreau a 99 point player is like Calling Joe Thornton a 100+ point player. The league has gotten better and Guadreau hasn’t. He scored 99 point 3 years ago in a outlier season. Now he’s a 1 dimensional sub PPG player any person who knows anything about hockey would know a younger term controlled 2 way player is worth more then Guadreau. Post these deals on HFBoards and see how hard you get ridiculed.
